Website, Hosting, Business Email, SEO and Maintenance From One Company in Egypt (2026 Guide)

Website, domain, hosting, business email, SEO and maintenance from one company: when the all-in-one package is the right call for a business in Egypt or Saudi Arabia, and how to set it up so every account stays yours.

A dental clinic in Nasr City, a small factory in 10th of Ramadan City exporting to the Gulf, a services firm in Maadi that just opened a branch in Riyadh: when any of them decides it is time for a "proper website," the list arrives all at once. A website, a domain with the company name, business email instead of personal Gmail, hosting that stays up, visibility on Google, and someone to fix things after launch. Which is exactly what one business owner typed into Google: my business needs a website, email, hosting, SEO, and ongoing maintenance — which company in Egypt can handle all of that?

The short answer is yes. Plenty of companies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia sell some version of a "website, hosting and domain package." The more important question is how to buy one without losing control of your digital assets. An all-in-one package can be the smartest decision a small or mid-sized business makes. It can also be how your company domain ends up registered to someone you cannot reach two years later.

This guide is for business owners, not developers. We walk through every layer of a full package, look at when one accountable partner is the right call, give you a control checklist that keeps everything in your name, and show you how to compare quotes. At Jad Digital we have built websites and business systems for companies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia since 2019, and we offer these services together for clients who want them — but we will be clear about where a package turns into a trap.

What You Are Actually Buying When You Ask for "a Complete Website"

To a business owner, "the website" is one thing. Technically it is seven separate layers, each with its own provider, account, renewal and permissions:

When a company tells you "the package covers everything," ask them to write next to each layer: who is the provider, whose name is the account in, who renews it, and who holds the password. That table alone separates a professional offer from one that will cause you pain later. If you are still deciding whether you need a website at all, start with why a Facebook page is not enough.

  • Domain: your name on the internet, registered with a registrar and renewed periodically.
  • Hosting: the server where the site's files and database live.
  • Business email: mailboxes on your domain, either on the hosting server or on a separate email service.
  • The website: design, development, content and the admin panel.
  • SEO: a technical setup at launch, then ongoing work.
  • Analytics and security: tracking, the SSL certificate, backups and protection.
  • Maintenance and support: updates, fixes and an agreed response time.

The Domain: The Asset That Must Be Yours Before Anything Else

If you take one thing from this article, take this: your domain must be registered in your company's name, in a registrar account that you own. It is the most common mistake in the market, and we see it constantly when companies come to us wanting to leave a previous provider.

The usual story: the developer registered the domain in their own account "to keep things simple." Then the relationship ended or the developer disappeared, and the company discovered it could not move the site, change email settings, or even renew. In the worst case the domain lapses, and a name printed for years on cards and invoices is gone.

What to verify:

DNS records — the settings that point your domain to the website and the email service — can be managed by the agency, as long as they are documented and visible to you. If you target Saudi Arabia, whether you need a local country extension alongside a generic one depends on rules that differ by registry, so confirm the current requirements with the official registry.

  • The registrant is your company, and the registered contact email is one you control.
  • You have direct login to the registrar panel, even if the agency also has technical access.
  • Auto-renewal is on, or at the very least renewal notices reach you.
  • Transfer lock is enabled, and you know how to request the transfer code.

Hosting: Shared, Cloud, or Managed

Hosting decides speed, stability and much of your security. There are three broad models.

Shared hosting

Your site shares a server with many others. Fine for a small brochure site, but performance depends on your neighbours, and it is very often what gets bundled into cheap packages without being named.

Cloud or VPS

Dedicated resources that grow with traffic, suited to stores, admin panels and integrations — but someone has to update, harden and monitor it.

Managed hosting

The provider handles updates, backups, monitoring and scaling. You pay for peace of mind, and it is usually the right fit for a company with no in-house technical team.

Whatever the model, a few questions never change:

  • Backups: how often, and stored separately from the server? Has anyone actually tested a restore? A backup never restored is a hope, not a plan.
  • Uptime: if the site goes down at night or on a holiday, who notices and who acts?
  • Server location: your visitors are in Cairo, Alexandria, Riyadh and Jeddah, and a distant server adds delay that mobile visitors feel most. Ask where the server is and whether a content delivery network is used.
  • Whose account? Like the domain: in your company's name, or at minimum documented access and a clear migration path.

Business Email: Host Mailboxes or a Professional Email Service

Email on your own domain changes how clients perceive you quickly — and it is one of the layers most carelessly set up inside packages.

The two main options

Mailboxes on the hosting server usually come free with the plan, but they are limited in storage and tools, and your deliverability depends on a shared server's reputation. If a neighbouring site sends spam, your mail can suffer.

A separate professional service such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 gives you email on your domain with calendars, file sharing and stronger deliverability. Its biggest advantage is that it is independent of your hosting — move the website and your email does not notice. Which service fits depends on the tools your team already uses.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC: why your emails land in spam

The most common complaint after launch: "Clients say our emails go to junk." The cause is rarely the content. It is usually three missing records in your domain settings:

Without them your domain's reputation suffers and impersonating your company gets easier. If your website sends automatic emails, such as order confirmations, that sending service must be included in the records too.

  • SPF: tells mail servers which servers may send on behalf of your domain.
  • DKIM: a digital signature proving the message really came from your domain and was not altered.
  • DMARC: a policy for mail that fails those checks, plus reports about anyone spoofing your name.

Migrating from personal Gmail

Moving a team off personal Gmail needs a plan: new mailboxes, important messages migrated, the address updated on cards, the website and supplier accounts, and the old account kept for a while with an auto-reply. The golden rule: the top-level email admin account must belong to the business owner — not an employee, not the developer — because whoever holds it holds all of your company's email.

The Website Itself: Design, Content and Two Languages

The website is the layer clients see, and many packages describe nothing else. Choosing a design partner is covered in our guide to choosing a web design company in Cairo; inside a package, a few points matter most:

What goes into building the site is on our web development service page.

  • Admin panel: can you edit text and images yourself, or does every small change need a ticket that quietly makes you dependent?
  • Ownership: agree in writing that code, designs and content belong to your company, with a full copy on request.
  • Two languages: if you address Egypt and the Gulf, a properly built bilingual site with separate URLs per language opens different audiences and search terms — see the benefits of a bilingual website.
  • Mobile and speed: most visitors arrive on a phone, and speed depends on design and hosting together. That is a genuine package advantage: one party responsible, instead of the host blaming the code and the developer blaming the server.

SEO: A Technical Setup at Launch, Then Ongoing Work

"SEO included" is one of the vaguest lines in any quote. It really means two different things.

Technical SEO at launch

Part of building any professional site: titles and descriptions per page, clean URLs, a sitemap, structured data that helps Google understand your business, image alt text, good speed, correct setup for two languages, and connecting the site to Google Search Console. Done once, reviewed when the site changes significantly.

Ongoing SEO

Monthly work: researching what customers type, writing pages and articles that answer it, improving pages close to the first page, and watching Search Console. Results compound over months, and anyone who guarantees a specific ranking should make you suspicious.

Local visibility and Google Business Profile

For any business customers visit, the Google Business Profile is part of SEO: name, address and phone matching the website, the right category, photos and genuine reviews. Here too, the profile must sit in a Google account you own, with the agency added as a manager.

Analytics, Tracking and Security

Analytics: know where customers come from

A website without measurement is a shop without a sales ledger. The minimum is analytics showing visits and sources, plus conversion tracking: every form submission, WhatsApp tap or call. Without it you never know which channel actually brings customers. Analytics and tag-management accounts should be in your name. And one habit that needs no technology: ask every new customer how they found you and what they searched for.

Security and SSL

The SSL padlock is now a baseline — browsers warn visitors about sites without it. But security goes further:

  • Regular updates to the CMS, plugins and libraries; most breaches exploit known, unpatched vulnerabilities.
  • Strong passwords and two-factor authentication on registrar, hosting, email and admin accounts.
  • Least-privilege access, removed the day someone leaves.
  • Form protection against spam and automated attacks.

Maintenance, Support and the Service-Level Agreement

Maintenance is one layer out of seven, but it shapes your experience for years. We cover what it includes in website maintenance after launch, so here we focus on the service-level agreement:

  • Support channels: email, a ticketing system or WhatsApp — and is every request logged?
  • Response times by priority: a site that is down is not the same as swapping an image. Each level needs a response time agreed in writing.
  • Included versus extra: security updates, backups and monitoring usually sit inside maintenance; new pages and features are usually estimated separately.
  • Reporting and holidays: a regular report of what was done, and who responds if the site goes down during Eid.

One Partner or Several Vendors: Advantages and Risks

When one partner is the right decision

  • You have no in-house technical team and do not want to coordinate a designer, a host and an SEO agency.
  • You want one point of accountability. If email stops or the site slows, one party owns it.
  • The layers are interdependent. Speed depends on design and hosting, email delivery on domain settings — one party sees the whole picture.

The risks you need to know

If you already have a technical lead or stable email on a professional service, you do not need to put everything in one place. The goal is not the number of vendors; it is clear accountability and ownership that stays with you.

  • Lock-in: the more layers one vendor holds, the harder it is to leave. Not a reason to refuse a package; a reason to write the exit plan on day one.
  • Everything in the vendor's name: domain, hosting, email, analytics, Google profile. This is where a service becomes a cage.
  • Cheap bundled hosting: weak shared hosting with mailboxes on the same server — a slow site and emails in spam.
  • Depending on a person, not a company: one freelancer's absence stops everything.

The Control Checklist: How to Stay the Real Owner

This checklist is the heart of the article. Go through it before signing and again after handover:

If a previous provider has already vanished with your accounts or a half-finished project, see taking over an unfinished software project.

  • Accounts in your name: registrar, hosting, email admin, analytics, Search Console and Google Business Profile. The agency is added as a user; you are the owner.
  • Credentials handover: a written file of every account, stored securely on your side and updated with every change — ideally in a shared password manager, not chat messages.
  • Documentation: where the site runs, the current DNS records and why, where backups are kept, and which external services are connected.
  • Code and content: a copy you can request any time, and a contract clause stating it belongs to you.
  • Exit plan: what happens when the contract ends — a transition period, full handover, and cooperation with the next provider. Having it protects both sides.

How to Compare Package Quotes and What to Ask Before You Sign

Compare layers, not just the final figure

Two quotes with different totals may not be comparable: one includes professional email and ongoing SEO, the other shared hosting and a one-time setup. Compare layer by layer:

We explain this in detail in comparing website design quotes in Egypt, and the cost factors in website design cost in Egypt.

  • Is each of the seven layers named, or are there blanket phrases like "complete package"?
  • What hosting type, where is the server, and how are backups handled?
  • Email on the server or a separate service? Is SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup mentioned?
  • SEO: technical setup only, or ongoing work with clear monthly deliverables?
  • Which costs are recurring (domain, hosting, email, maintenance) and which are one-time?

Questions to ask before you sign

A confident provider answers without hesitation. For broader criteria on choosing the company itself, see our guide to choosing the best software company in Egypt.

  • In whose name will the domain be registered, and will I have direct registrar access?
  • Is the hosting account in my name? If not, how does migration work?
  • Who owns the top-level email admin account?
  • How often are backups taken, and when did you last test a restore?
  • What exactly does SEO include in the first month and after?
  • Who handles my project day to day, and who covers when they are away?
  • What happens to my website and email if I end the contract?

Three Scenarios From the Market

A dental clinic in Heliopolis

The clinic ran on the dentist's personal Gmail, an active Facebook page, and an old website nobody could trace the domain for. The work started with recovering the domain into an account in the clinic's name, then professional email for bookings with the authentication records, then a bilingual site with a booking form and WhatsApp button, and a Google Business Profile matching the website. A package made sense: nobody technical works at the clinic. If needs later grow into appointments and patient records, the conversation becomes a clinic management system.

An agricultural exporter in Sharqia

Quotations emailed to Gulf and European buyers were landing in spam, and the site was slow from abroad. Diagnosis: mailboxes on shared hosting with no authentication records, and a distant server without a CDN. The fix: a separate professional email service with records configured and DMARC reports monitored, managed hosting behind a CDN, and an English and Arabic site presenting products and certifications. One partner helped because both problems were linked through the domain settings.

The Saudi branch of an Egyptian services company

A Cairo company opened in Riyadh and wanted a Saudi presence without a separate site run by a separate team. The decision: one domain with a Saudi section, pages speaking to Riyadh and Jeddah, unified email with mailboxes for the Saudi team, a Google Business Profile for the Riyadh branch, and ongoing local SEO. The real challenge was governance — every account owned by the parent company, with permissions for the branch. For our Saudi work, see our services in Saudi Arabia.

How Jad Digital Handles a Full Package

At Jad Digital we deliver the website, managed hosting, business email setup, SEO and maintenance together for companies that want one partner, on rules we keep:

We do not promise you the first position on Google, and nobody honestly can. What we offer is a clear method, transparent measurement, and single accountability for every layer you hand us. To have us review your current setup, start on our contact page.

  • Ownership is yours from day one: domain, email, analytics and Google profile in your company's name, with us added as managers.
  • We start with an inventory, not a design: where is the domain, where does email live, who owns what, and what already works?
  • A proposal broken down layer by layer, with recurring costs separated from the build.
  • Documentation and handover: an accounts file, an operations document, and a copy of the code on request.
  • Honest recommendations: if your email is stable on a professional service, there is no reason to move it; if your team runs hosting, we stick to the website and SEO.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a company in Egypt that handles the website, hosting, business email, SEO and maintenance together?

+

Yes. Many software and web design companies in Egypt offer these as one package, Jad Digital among them. What matters most is not how much is bundled, but that every account stays in your name, the proposal is broken down layer by layer, and there is a clear support agreement and a written exit plan.

Should the domain be registered in my name even if the agency manages it?

+

Yes — it is the most important condition in any package. The agency can manage technical settings with access you grant, but the registrant and registrar account should belong to your company, with auto-renewal and transfer lock enabled.

What is the difference between hosting mailboxes and a professional email service?

+

Hosting mailboxes come with the server plan, are limited in storage and tools, and can suffer from a shared server's reputation. A separate service such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 offers stronger deliverability and collaboration tools, and stays independent of your hosting.

Why are our company emails going to spam?

+

Usually missing SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, or sending from a shared server with a poor reputation. Configuring the records and monitoring DMARC reports resolves most cases.

Is the SEO included in a package enough to reach the first page?

+

Technical SEO at launch is the foundation, not the result. Ranking for commercial keywords takes ongoing work on content, local visibility and genuine reviews over months, and nobody can guarantee a position. Ask exactly what SEO covers each month.

How do I move from personal Gmail to business email without losing messages?

+

Create mailboxes on your domain and configure the authentication records, migrate important messages, update the address everywhere it appears, and keep the old account for a while with an auto-reply. The top-level admin account stays in the owner's name.

What should I do if my website accounts are with a former developer who no longer responds?

+

Start with the domain registrar: with proof of company ownership, the domain can often be recovered through the registrar's procedures. Then move email and hosting step by step. Domain and email come first, because every other layer depends on them.
